ANDRE Oxford, 18, of Princes Street, Lodge, Georgetown, appeared Thursday before Georgetown Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton, charged with malicious damage to property and common assault, wherein he was alleged to have assaulted Roxanne Gentle by pushing her, and maliciously damaging her jersey, valued at $2500. Oxford pleaded guilty to the common assault charge, but not guilty to the malicious damage to property charge.
His application for bail was granted at $12,000, and he was also fined $3000 and was asked to sign a six-month bond to keep the peace.
His matter was set for report and fixture on April 18.
