JITENDRA Bajnauth, 42, of Better Hope, appeared at Sparendaam Court yesterday, charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on Ravin Ramlogan. Particulars of the March 5 offence said it was committed at Better Hope, also on East Coast Demerara, where he unlawfully and maliciously wounded the virtual complainant.
Defence counsel, Gwendolyn Bristol secured bail for the defendant in the sum of $25,000 and he has to be back in court on April 13.
Police Sergeant Bernard Browne represented the prosecution before Magistrate Alex Moore.
