–defendant still put on $10,000 bail
Jason Boyce (no address given) yesterday answered an assault charge before Sparendaam Magistrate Alex Moore, wherein he was alleged to have unlawfully assaulted Dwayne Anthony on March 12, at La Bonne Intention (LBI) East Coast Demerara. Boyce pleaded not guilty to the charge, and the virtual complainant, who was present in court, indicated that he was willing to settle the matter out of court.
The defendant was, however, put on $10,000 bail, and the matter was dismissed.
