IGNORANCE of the law is no excuse, is a popular truism, and I wonder if any of the 13 identified names released in what appeared to be an extraordinary fraudulent exercise of divesting all properties, all valuables, documents and relative minutes of the GCB to a specially established private limited company, the owners of which are the very named 13, plead ignorance of the law? Appropriately the Guyana Police Force is now handling the matter and the entire cricketing fraternity awaits with much anxiety, the fate the inquiry will dictate.
