THE Clive Lloyd-chaired Interim Management Committee (IMC) has shortlisted a 19-man squad which will undergo an encampment period at the Windjammer Hotel, in preparation for Guyana’s upcoming Regional four-day matches against Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago. Having chalked up two wins out of their four matches, the-then-led Veerasammy Permaul team are on 24 points, having lost their last fixture against four-time defending champions Jamaica, who topped the points table with 48 points.
The Guyanese are scheduled to take on Barbados at the Kensington Oval from next Friday and face Trinidad and Tobago at the Queen’s Park Oval the following weekend. The players listed below are asked to report to the hotel by 1130hrs today.
