Supenaam to get new cottage hospital

REGIONAL Chairman of Region Two (Pomeroon /Supenaam), Mr. Parmanand Persaud has announced that a new cottage hospital will be constructed at Supenaam on Essequibo Coast. He said plans are in the pipeline for the building in the extreme South of the Coast which is a port of entry to the Region.
Persaud also disclosed that more doctors will be added, shortly, to the current staff of Suddie Hospital.
The Government, in its quest to make health care available to every citizen in the Region, as well, has built a state-of-the-art diagnostic centre at Suddie and it is providing quality service.
There are other health centres along the Coast and in Pomeroon, offering free medical services, too.
