Court told women have children for same man
TRICIA Stephens (no address given) was released on her own recognisance yesterday, after she pleaded not guilty to an assault charge before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry. Particulars of the offence said the defendant, on February 13,  unlawfully assaulted Tarmana Fraser to cause her actual bodily harm.
Police Corporal Jairam Luckhai, prosecuting, informed the Court that the two women have children for the same man and they are known to each other.
The prosecutor said, that day, Stephens struck Fraser with an umbrella and a scramble ensued, during which the latter suffered injuries about her body.
The case will be called, again, tomorrow.
