Digicel opens another flagship store on fifth anniversary
DIGICEL (Guyana) opened its fifth flagship store, at Lot 19-20 Water and Commerce Streets, Georgetown, yesterday. It was part of the company’s fifth anniversary celebrations and the renovated business place enhanced services, featuring touch screen as well as interactive delivery.
Head of Sales and Distribution, Ms. Nalini Vieira said it is a very modern facility, which adds to others on Avenue of the Republic and City Mall, also in the capital; at Linden, Upper Demerara River and Parika, East Bank Essequibo.
She said, for the St. Valentine’s Day opening, only, on offer were a handset at $5,000 and the ‘Free Talk’, from 05:00hrs, once you had topped up, electronically, with $500 or more on Monday.
Vieira said that ‘Early Bird’, for the February 17 Digicel Mega Concert, featuring Keri Hilson, I-Octane, Morgan Heritage and local artistes Times X are available at $1,500, just for Valentine’s Day, as well.
Sales Manager, Ms. Shondell Harry said the new state-of-the- art service would allow patrons to browse on a touch screen computer from the phones Digicel has for sale.
She said there is also the live handset, from which, upon being purchased, can be used to browse and get vital information on the phone of the customer’s choice.
Harry said the knowledgeable employees are capable of assisting with all the services and products showcased.
Public Relations Manager, Ms. Shonnet Moore, who was present, too, said the fifth store opening was one way of enhancing the service provided by Digicel to its valued customers.
