THE Police are seeking help from the public to identify a male corpse found floating in the Corentyne River on Monday, February 6. The body is that of a barefooted man of mixed ethnicity, apparently in his 40s and was clad in a black jersey with a Bob Marley portrait on the front and back, a multi-coloured vest and a pair of multi-coloured shorts.
It is at the New Amsterdam Hospital mortuary in Berbice.
Anyone with information that may lead to the identification of the deceased is asked to telephone the police on numbers 225-6411, 333-2191, 333-2151, 225-2227, 911 or contact the nearest station.
