ENGLAND fast bowler Chris Tremlett will miss the remainder of the Test series against Pakistan because of a back injury, and is to fly home from the United Arab Emirates. Tremlett sat out practice on Tuesday, before the start of the second match of three at the Zyed Cricket Stadium, having suffered a recurrence of pain in his back and side.
A similar injury kept the 30-year-old out of the England reckoning for five-and-a-half months, until he returned for last week’s first Test in Dubai.
He was wicket-less in that landslide defeat, but was still expected to retain his place here until injury struck again. England are expected to call up a replacement for the final Test.
