THERE is a saying that humans tend to forgive, but the lesson/s learnt is never forgotten. Some damage that occur is irreparable.
Having interacted with society on a daily basis in the fields, I would safely say that I have an advantage to a great length in understanding people from all walks of life and their respective perspectives on different topic areas.
The feedback I have been getting recently is that supporters of ‘The Kashif and Shanghai Football Tournament Group’ in the past years and current ones really felt betrayed and disappointed with the group’s public political affiliation.
Most of them felt and said that they indeed respect one’s personal political affiliation, but sometimes it’s best not to make it public at some fora because of the backlash and consequences.
On the other hand and from a marketing perspective with no title, Banks Beer (Banks DIH Comp.) did not steal the ball away from anyone. It came right into their court and play must continue. Supporters of the 2012 Banks Beer/GFA Football Tournament held at the Guyana Football Club are very much looking forward for the 2013 event. This is from my personal findings/analysis being based in the fields.
Respectfully to the K&S Group, I don’t see you coming anywhere close to challenging Corporate Guyana to regain your position you once held for the past 22 years within the football fraternity and it all boils down to lack of resources.
Play must continue
