Albion name sub-committees for 2012

…Veerasammy Permaul re-appointed first division captain
THE newly-elected executives of the Albion Community Centre Cricket Club, under the presidency of Lloyd Kanden met recently and have named the club’s various Sub-Committees, captains and vice-captains of the club’s respective teams among others for the year 2012.
The Club’s Selection Committee will be chaired by Vemen Walter and will include Pawan Baldeo and Pooran Mangal along with the captain and the manager of the team in question.
Vice-president Imtiaz Baccus heads the Disciplinary Committee with Muthusammy Permaul, Orvin Mangru, Kanden and Baldeo being the other members while Muthusammy Permaul will chair the Cricket Development Committee with Walter, Mangru, Baldeo and Andy Mohan making up the committee.
Treasurer Hemendra Ramdial is the chairman of the fund-raising committee which will also comprise Totaram Harricharran, Mangal, Jainarine Mohabir and Mangru.
West Indies ‘A’ Team captain Veerasammy Permaul was re-appointed captain of the club’s First Division Team with West Indies leg-spinner Davendra Bishoo as his deputy. Guyana Under-19 left-arm-spinner Gudakesh Motie will be the man captaining the club’s Second Division and Under-19 teams with Veerapen Permaul being his vice-captain for both teams.
National Under-15 all-rounder Sharaz Ramcharran and Berbice Under-15 player David Latchaya are the captain and vice-captain respectively of the   Under-17 team while Balchand Baldeo will captain the Under-15 Team with Samual Kistensammy as the vice-captain.
The club’s various teams will be managed by Muthusammy Permaul with Walter and Mangru providing assistance.
Muthusammy Permaul and Walter will also be representing the club at the Berbice Cricket Board level with Mangru being the alternate.
Baldeo and Mohan are the club’s two representatives on the Albion Community Development Centre Council.
