Men remanded for narcotics possession
ANTOINE Fletchman, alias ‘Dance’, 23, and Darren Edwards, 31, both of Smythfield, New Amsterdam, appeared before Magistrate Adela Nagamootoo to answer to a joint charge of narcotics possession. Both co-defendants pleaded not guilty to the charge, which stated that on December 28, at St John Street, New Amsterdam, the police conducted a raid and unearthed the narcotics concealed in the living-room in which they were present.
Fletchman and Edwards were refused bail and are expected to return to court tomorrow.
