Miss Chevon Singh of the Editorial Department copped the ‘Worker of the Year’ award, and was hailed as an “excellent worker and workaholic” by her boss and Editor-in-Chief, Mark Ramotar.
The first runner-up position went to Ms. Venessa James of the Administration Department, while Calvin Marks of the Advertising Department copped that of second runner-up.
The General Manager’s awards went to Orlando Milner of the Accounts Department, Khemchan Harripersaud of the Production Department, and Ishwar Persaud of the Administration Department.
The Editor-in-Chief’s awards went to Telesha Persaud and Sonell Nelson of the Editorial Department.
‘Special awards’ were given to Aubrey Harricharan, Gem Charles and James Johnson, while ‘Special Mention’ awards were given to O’Neil Rodney, Jamila Wiltshire, Sudesh Sookhai, Rondel James, Desiree Bannister, Vidyawattie Rambharose, Marjorie Wishart, and James Leach.
Mr. Burrowes congratulated all the winners, and urged them to continue their good work. He also spoke about various plans to develop the company, and its sports club, located just opposite GNNL.
