IT is an understatement really, in saying that I am aghast, with how the Kaieteur News and Stabroek News have treated the ‘James Bond Assault’ matter. It smacks of a very skewed journalistic ‘philosophy and practice’ that are characterised by open bias. The glaring and blatant folly of these two media entities is just too much to ignore. First, James Bond was made out to be a mini-god and all the evidence that suggest otherwise is now coming to light. He seems most intemperate in deportment. Just look at what happened. This political aspirant allegedly assaulted a young man he is supposed to be standing up for.
What malfeasance! James Bond is the new bête noire and deservedly so. Yet all of this is being treated with a light hand by his media friends.
I did not hear from the Kissoons, Sasenarines, Maxwells, etc. I did not see Kaieteur News and Stabroek News parading this ugly incident. The two media houses appeared to be in collective collusion to sideline this incident. However, it is not working. So I think the point is well established.

For a summary, how about the following:
Both KNEWS and SNEWS seem to have an anti-PPP/C agenda; Both entities apparently have their ghost writers, who were, in all likelihood, instructed to stay away from the ‘James Bond Assault’ matter; Both entities will lie until the matter naturally receded; James Bond is now seen for what he symbolises  – violence. Imagine if there were no police intervention during the ‘quack marches of protests.’
