DR. Moti Lall was indeed a stalwart of our party who became my family friend in 1970. Comrade Moti resuscitated the Vreed-en-Hoop PPP Group and we later established the Vreed-en-Hoop PPP District Committee. Comrade Moti was elected the party’s first secretary in Region 3 for many years.
As President of the Guyana/Cuba Friendship Society and very active member of the Guyana Peace Council and Friendship Society, he encouraged people of all walks of life to support our party.
Dr.  Moti Lall as a medical doctor took pride in looking after his many comrades. He was a simple but thorough man. As a real friend of Comrade Moti, I will certainly miss him but would never forget him. He left us a legacy never to quarrel, be honest and live with the ordinary people while you have maximum respect for all.
To his dear wife Sister Chitra and his three loving children and his mother Miss Lall and all his family and friends, my family and I express our profound condolences.
