Route 32 bus operators overcharging commuters on Sundays

THE operators of Route 32 buses are demanding $200 for destinations where the prescribed fare is $160. This is gross exploitation and therefore the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the  Consumer Affairs Division should address this matter with a sense of urgency. If they do not, then the Sunday fare will eventually become the norm.
However, in the interim, commuters need to stand up firmly against these unscrupulous and rapacious bus operators. There is also a need for someone being present to monitor and overlook what is happening at the bus parks.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Several complaints have been made against the route 32 buses in recent weeks. We sincerely hope that the competent authority would look into this matter once and for all and take the necessary action.
