MINISTER of Agriculture, Dr. Leslie Ramsammy and Minister within the Ministry, Ali Baksh are scheduled to visit Region 2 (Pomeroon/Supenaam) today and tomorrow.
A release from the Regional Administration said the ministers will be visiting Supenaam this afternoon and inspect aquaculture farms and small agro-processing enterprises.
Tomorrow they will be at the Guyana School of Agriculture branch at Cotton Field and the Dawa Pump Station, Tapakuma.
Ministers Ramsammy and Baksh are expected to meet with farmers and hold discussions with them on agriculture development in the region.
