Police Force reports success in recovering illegal weapons, ammo 
– two in custody
POLICE ranks, at about 21:30 hrs Monday night, searched a man at Takaka Landing, Cuyuni River, in whose possession was found an unlicensed .38 revolver with 3 matching rounds and 271 grammes marijuana.
He has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
Also, at about 04:00 hrs yesterday, police ranks conducted a search on a house at Puruni Landing, Cuyuni River, where they found an unlicensed 12 gauge shotgun with two cartridges, along with six .38 rounds, 115 grammes marijuana and 13 grammes suspected cocaine.
A man has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
