Management of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) disclosed yesterday that the victim of an accident that occurred on Mandela Avenue on November 3, remains unidentified, and the body is lying at the mortuary awaiting identification.

GPHC said that police officers had brought the unknown male of East Indian descent to the Accident & Emergency Unit at approximately 19:50 hrs on November 3, 2011, following a motor vehicle accident on Mandela Avenue which involved a John Fernandes truck.
The patient was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, but died at 23:50hrs that same evening.
The body of this individual awaits identification at the GHPC Mortuary.
