JAVED Vollet, the holidaying Canadian who, allegedly, walked off a third floor balcony, at Princess Hotel, Providence, East Bank Demerara, is reported to be on the way to recovery.
He has been a patient at a private city hospital since the 36 feet fall to the ground last Saturday morning.
Vollet is receiving treatment for spinal and other injuries from which he is recuperating.
Reports said he was with another male Canadian and female friends, having drinks at Stadium View Bar, located in the vicinity of Princess Hotel.
Vollet is alleged to have consumed a lot of alcohol and was intoxicated when the mishap occurred after 01:00hrs.
He landed on his feet and was assisted by hotel staffers until an ambulance arrived and took him to the private hospital where his condition is listed as stable.
