WINSTON Martin, 25, a construction worker who fell from the third floor of a building on Sheriff Street, Campbellville, on Monday, died early yesterday morning at the Intensive Care Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital. Martin who had only recently begun working with the construction crew on the C and S building on Sherrif Street, sustained severe multiple injuries when he fell from the building. He was picked up by his workmates who rushed him to the hospital.
When the injured man arrived at the hospital, he was bleeding profusely and his body was badly mangled
His mother, Joyann Martin, and other relatives wept bitterly outside the Accident and Emergency Unit, where they remained late into the night, hoping and praying for a miracle.
