(REUTERS)-Irfan Pathan has been recalled to the India squad after a two-year absence for the final two one-day internationals against West Indies. The 27-year-old all-rounder has not represented his country since the World Twenty20 in England in June 2009, but has been included in the 15-man group because Umesh Yadav has departed for Australia early in order to acclimatise for the upcoming Test series.
Selectors also announced after Monday’s 16-run defeat to the Windies in Ahmedabad that fast bowler Abhimanyu Mithun will replace the injured Praveen Kumar on the tour Down Under.
