FOLLOWING the successful hosting of their national championship, the Guyana Association of Scrabble Players (GASP) will be hosting a one-day tournament this Sunday at the Italian Cuisine Restaurant in Enterprise, East Coast Demerara. The tournament is being sponsored by Shankar Dyal, the owner and chef of the host venue.
GASP is calling on all players who are desirous of competing in the tournament, which will be played under a two-tier format, to be present at the Buddy’s Night Club on Sheriff Street for 08:30hrs, to facilitate a 09:00hrs departure time.
