Police looking for Randy Morris, called ‘Remey’

POLICE yesterday issued a bulletin for Randy Morris, called ‘Remey’, who is wanted for questioning in relation to robbery under arms committed on Kenneth Joaquin on November 09, 2011 at Hunter Street and Mandela Avenue, Georgetown.
Police described Morris as a dark-skinned 32-year-old, medium built man of African ethnicity, whose last known address is Lot 263 East La Penitence, Georgetown.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Randy Morris, called ‘Remey’, is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers: 227-1149, 227-1270, 226-7065, 225-8196, 226-6978, 225-6411, 911 or the nearest police station. All information will be treated in strictest confidence.

On Wednesday, November 9, 2011, Arakaka (Region One) miner Kenneth Joaquin was traced and robbed by one of two bandits at the traffic lights at Hunter Street and Mandela Avenue, Georgetown.
It is believed that someone had divulged personal details of Joaquin’s travel arrangements and movements in the city prior to the armed robbery.
According to a police report, Joaquin was in a motor car which had stopped at the traffic light at Hunter Street and Mandela Avenue, Georgetown at about 09:00 hrs, when he was held up by a man with a firearm and relieved of a bag containing $5M, and was shot to his left thigh before the perpetrator escaped on a motor cycle driven by an accomplice.
Kenneth Joaquin received medical attention at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
