KAIETEUR NEWS’ reference to the massive crowd at Port Mourant on October 30 as being “sizable” is an understatement. I now give full credit to Dr. Joey Jagan’s dubbing of Mr. Moses Nagamootoo as a liar. His latest lie is that a video clip of the Port Mourant rally showed a count of only 302 persons in attendance, instead of 4000. The naked prejudice and unbridled bias of the writer in favour of the Alliance For Change rally is pitiful indeed. He elaborated on every detail of the Whim rally, but did not elaborate on the speech by Gomattie Singh at the Port Mourant meeting. She spoke of the malicious physical injury inflicted on her after she resigned from the AFC, and simply reminded them of their promise to her. Is he afraid of letting all Guyanese see the deception of the AFC?
But what else can the public expect from this newspaper? This is one reason why the majority of Guyanese justify the President’s attack on them. They are using what they tout to be ‘media’ to give a distorted account of the PPP/C in favour of the AFC. Yellow journalism has become the order of the day with Kaieteur News. But Guyanese are not misled by their poor attempts to diminish the truth. What we witness and experience at the PPP/C public meetings is indicative of victory at the polls next month. I wonder how Kaieteur News will manipulate the figures then?
