THE Burnham Basketball Court came alive last evening, when Group A in the Georgetown zone of the Mackeson Smooth Moves Basketball tournament bounced off.
Six teams (Slash, Knights, Courts Pacesetters B, Bounty Colts A, and Bank of Guyana) were placed in the group where the top three teams will advance to the second round.
Up to press time, three games were played where Courts Pacesetters B, led by Clement Brusch went down to former Junior National player Kester Gomes and his Knights team in the first game.
National Point Guard Ryan Stephaney took his Bank of Guyana team to victory over Riders in the second game, while Slash lost to Bounty Colts A in the third game.
A number of 15 games were to be played last night and more details will be given later.
