Caribbean Under-20 Women’s Qualifying to begin next month

CARIBBEAN qualifying for the CONCACAF Under-20 Women’s Championship will begin October 18, with the first of four first-round groups in Suriname.
Suriname will compete against the Cayman Islands and Trinidad in Group B from October 18 – 22, while Group A begins October 21 in Cuba and will include Jamaica and St Lucia, concluding on October 25.

Group C will consist of host Haiti, Barbados, the British Virgin Islands and St Kitts and will be played October 31 – November 4. Group D will finish the first round November 2 – 6 in Guyana with the host competing against Anguilla, the Dominican Republic and Antigua & Barbuda.
Two teams from each group will advance to a second round, which will be split into two groups of four and be played December 5 – 12.
The winners of Groups A and C along with the runners-up from B and D will be in one group, while the winners of B and D will be joined by the runners-up from A and C in the other.
Both second-round group winners will qualify for next year’s eight-team CONCACAF finals along with the best runner-up of the two groups.
