THIRTY-EIGHT-YEAR-OLD Devinda Narine was discovered dead on the Airy Hall Public Road, Essequibo Coast, yesterday. It was reported that the man, who worked as a labourer, was experiencing domestic problems and roamed the public road often, especially at nights.
Residents of the village, who made the discovery, said the deceased was found bleeding from his mouth in a pool of blood and speculated that he may have been the victim of a hit and run accident.
Police are continuing investigations into the death of the man who was, allegedly, of unsound mind.
A few weeks ago, the body of another man of unsound mind was on the Airy Hall Public Road and, he, too, was suspected to have been killed in a hit and run incident.
