AFTER two postponements due to rain, the long-awaited Tropical Mist Pee Wee cricket final between Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) and Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) will be played today at Thirst Park ground starting at 14:00hrs.
The tournament is organised by Georgetown Cricket Association and sponsored by Banks DIH Ltd. under the Tropical Mist brand.

The 20-over a side encounter will showcase some emerging stars with DCC lineup expected to include captain Shemar DeSouza, all-rounder Travis Persaud, Ronaldo Renee, medium pace bowler Angad Rupee and Xavier Smith who has so far taken the most wickets in the tournament.
The Bourda boys will be captained by all-rounder Ali Mohamed with support expected from Raymond Perez (spin bowler and prolific batsman) and batsman Sammy McKenzie.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners-up, best bowler of the final, batsman of the final, best fielder and most valuable player (MVP) of the final.
