JOEL, Rodley Rampersaud and Devon Cornette were yesterday remanded to prison by Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton charged with robbery with aggravation.
The three men were not required to plead to the indictable charge and particulars of the offence stated that on July 24, at Alexander Village, Georgetown, being together with each other, they robbed Mark Rambarose of one Coral cellular phone, and one pack of cigarettes, along with other items, all valued at $5,460.
Police Corporal Venetta Pindar, prosecuting, requested that the three men be remanded to prison and the matter be transferred to Court One for report and fixture.
Pindar’s application was granted by the Magistrate, and the matter was transferred to Court One for October 14.
