The second annual Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) Senior Elite Training programme bowls off tomorrow July 27, at the Albion Community Centre (ACC) ground with a total of 37 senior cricketers selected by the Board Selection Committee, headed by Mark Lyte.
Chairman of the Special Events Committee Hilbert Foster disclosed that senior coaches, Adrian Amsterdam and Julian Moore, will be in charge of the programme with the main aim of getting the players prepared both physically and mentally to represent Berbice at the upcoming 20/20, 50-Over and four-day tournaments.
Training sessions will be held on Wednesdays from 15:00hrs to 18:00hrs and on Sundays from 13:00hrs to 16:00hrs.
Players are asked to be attired in suitable training uniforms and to walk along with their cricket equipment. According to a release from the BCB, Foster stated that the players as part of their commitment to Berbice Cricket would be required to stand the cost of transportation to the Albion ground.
The following players are requested to report to the venue tomorrow by 14:45hrs for the commencement of the Programme: Sewnarine Chattergoon, Richard Ramdeen, Assad Fudadin, Devon Clements, Rajiv Ivan, Jonathan Foo, Delbert Hicks, Balram Budhram, Esaun Crandon, Arthley Bailey, Veerasammy Permaul, Brandon Bess, Devendra Bishoo, Ranga Latchana, Royston Crandon, Anthony Bramble, Narsingh Deonarine, Keon Joseph, Keyron Fraser, Krishendat Ramoo, Sean Hetmyer, Michael Newland, Steven Latcha, Moshin Perkhan, Manoj Pooranauth, Eugene La Fleur, Eon Hooper, Jason Sinclair, Raffiel Estriado, Sherwin McPherson, Keith Fraser, Maxie De Jonge, Raid Ally, Alex Amsterdam, Renwick Batson, Troy Mathieson and Harrinarine Chattergoon.
