FOR several months now a section of the four-lane highway at the junction of Mandela Avenue/East Bank Demerara (opposite DDL Cash and Carry building) several holes have developed and it continues to deteriorate. It appears that we would wait until they become craters before they are fixed. At the moment these holes could be damaging to the tyres of vehicles.
As usual in Guyana there would only be a response when the situation becomes overbearing or when the President intervenes. Yet some accuse him of micromanaging.
