THE Stabroek News truly is an opposition paper and everyday it keeps showing this more and more. The newspaper’s Wednesday edition carried a story which said that former PNCR Minister of Finance Carl Greenidge criticised policies of the PPP/C administration, but there was no clarification from the PPP/C in the story.
The paper touts credibility and balance but yet, here again, we have another example of its one-sidedness and clear bias. The newspaper allows others to lash out at the government without capturing the views of  government officials, ministry or entity in question and this confirms that the paper clearly has its own agenda.
I think that as elections draw nearer we will continue to see this one-sidedness and bias being exhibited increasingly every day. I think that the public should be aware of the Stabroek News antics and take time to question its motives. It is clear that the Stabroek News has aligned itself with the opposition.
