TWO septuagenarians were hit Tuesday, by speeding motorcycles in separate accidents on Essequibo Coast. One of them, Cedric Small, 73, of Dartmouth, was struck while walking along a street in his village.
Reports said the pensioner was hurled into a nearby drain and suffered injuries to his feet, shoulders and back.
Public-spirited persons rushed him to Charity Hospital where he was admitted a patient.
The other victim, 72-year-old Jabbar Mohamed, of Bounty Hall, was involved in a mishap on Better Hope Public Road. He was riding his bicycle at the time and his injuries were on both feet and other parts of his body.
