Convicted robber to know fate June 14

ROBBERY convict Leroy Moore, of Rose Hall Town, will know his fate on June 14, following a probation report on his background, at Albion Court.
The report was ordered by Magistrate Fabayo Azore, after Moore confessed to a charge of break and enter and larceny committed on Highest Grade Boutique, and Wash Bay, in his hometown, on May 27.
On that date, Moore stole a quantity of brand name clothing, footwear, watches and other articles totaling $1M. However, quick action by the police led to the capture of Moore, who was dressed in the stolen articles, along with other items valuing $700,000.
Following his arrest, the repeated offender told sleuths, he had sold some of the items to a deportee Lawerence Rodriquez and Lincoln Matthews, both of whom were subsequently arrested, and was found to have the booty in their possession. The convict’s girlfriend Melinda Bogle, who was found dressed in stolen apparel was also arrested. They were all charged with receiving stolen articles and were granted $80,000 bail each.
Police Prosecutor Inspector Satrohan Dayaram, who had earlier objected to pre trial liberty for Moore, recant his statement, after the virtual complainant stated that he was compensated and did not wish to give evidence in the matter.
