THE police are investigating an incident of alleged abduction that occurred at about 17:00 hrs on Wednesday.
It was reported that Jerry Alstrom, 33, of Meadow Bank, was allegedly abducted by two men, who forced him into a motor vehicle and took him to a house at Timehri Circuit area, also on East Bank Demerara, where he was tied up.
Alstrom was subsequently released and a man has been arrested and is in custody assisting the police with investigations.
