COLIN Cadogan, a resident of Canada, was remanded to prison yesterday on an indictable unlawful wounding charge.
Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry refused him bail after Police Sergeant Vishnu Hunte, prosecuting, said the virtual complainant, Shawn Mc Lean is still on life support at Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH).
Particulars of the offence said, the accused unlawfully and maliciously wounded the victim on May 29, with intent to murder him.
The Prosecutor said the two men had an argument and Cadogan dealt Mc Lean several cuffs to his face, causing him to fall and suffer serious injuries.
The case will be called again, on June 9.
