DEONARINE SINGH, 30 (no address given) appeared last Thursday before Magistrate Ann Mc Lennan to answer to a threatening behaviour charge.
He pleaded not guilty to the offence, which stated that on May 17, at Den Amstel, West Coast Demerara, he made use of threatening language to his neighbour, Ramwattie Singh.
The facts of the charge were not read and the virtual complainant insisted that she is willing to give evidence against the defendant.
Prosecutor Corporal Ananda Sookhoo, had no objection to bail, and this was granted in the sum of $5,000.
The matter will continue on June 30 at the Vreed-en-Hoop Court.
