CHAITRAM Singh, 47, was killed Sunday in an accident on the Vryheid’s Lust Public Road, East Coast Demerara.
Singh, a father of three, of North Vryheid’s Lust, died at the Georgetown Public Hospital. The driver of the vehicle that killed Singh reportedly lost control and he struck him down.
According to reports, the vehicle collided with several others at the time Singh was struck down.
The driver of the vehicle is in police custody and charges are expected to be laid shortly.
