SIX-YEAR-OLD Althea Martin was killed last Sunday night at Sisters Village, West Bank Demerara. Martin and her father were pedestrians at the time and were struck down by motor car PMM 4315.
The child was pronounced dead on arrival at the West Demerara Regional Hospital, while her father was admitted as a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The driver of the car is in police custody assisting with investigations.
