ERROL Cornelius (no address given) was remanded to prison on the charge of killing his brother, Orrin Cornelius. The accused appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, charged with the May 3 murder at Karron Village, Lower Mazaruni.
Police Inspector Stephen Telford, prosecuting, said the accused was cooking when he and his sibling became involved in an argument and the accused threw the lighted stove on the victim who, subsequently, died of burns at Bartica Hospital.
The case was transferred to Bartica Court, for May 19, at the request of the prosecutor.
