A fire yesterday afternoon destroyed a Cellsmart Digicel outlet on Republic Avenue, Linden, and two persons living in a flat above the store are now homeless. A tender from the Guyana Fire Service was assisted by another from Bosai Minerals to put out the blaze.
It is believed that the fire broke out in the upper flat of the building.
