I WAS blown over to read in last Sunday’s newspaper that one Guyanese owned airline has more than 15 aircrafts, operates four hangars and that there are as many as five pilots in one family! It sounds like something for the Guinness Book of Records.
My warmest congratulations to Mr. Yacoob Ally, whom I have known as a youngster, flying from Skull Point.
I hope the government and the Airport Authority recognise and record this outstanding achievement and allow his company to grow even more. He is doing a fantastic job in helping out miners and ordinary folks who live in remote areas.
