Woman on threatening language charges and man on unlawful assault charge both granted bail

KAREN Prescott (no address given) yesterday appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton to answer two counts of threatening language.
She pleaded not guilty to the charges, which stated that on April 1, she made use of threatening language to Joylyn Clarke. Also, on April 5, she made use of threatening language to Karen Samuels.

The prosecutor said the facts are as charged and had no objection to bail.
Prescott was put on $10,000 bail on each charge and the matter will be called again on May 25.
Meanwhile, Cecil Henry (no address given) was yesterday released on bail on an unlawful assault charge.
He also appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton and pleaded not guilty to the charge which stated that, on April 1, he unlawfully assaulted Daren Wilkinson.
The prosecution had no objection to bail and the defendant was put on $10,000 bail. The case will be called again on May 25. (Nathalene DeFreitas)
