President Bharrat Jagdeo yesterday met with the delegates who will be vying for the Miss Linden Town Week title, which is a yearly feature for the much anticipated Linden Town Week activities, which kick off on April 24 and concludes on May 3.
This event is organised by the Linden Town Council in an effort to promote community tourism.
Some of the activities planned to entertain visitors are fishing, football matches, karaoke,  street jams, an exhibition and the pageant.
