THE Rose Hall Town Anniversary and Development  Organization, in association  with the Road Safety  Council in Region Six, will be hosting a street fair and exhibition highlighting the Low Carbon Development Strategy(LCDS)  on  April 30 , along the town’s main thoroughfare.
Public  Relations Officer Mr. Andrew Griffith  told this publication that the event, which   has  the support of  the Regional Democratic Council and the Ministry of Agriculture, is aimed at sensitizing persons, particularly those at the grassroots level, to government’s commitment to national development .
The exhibition, Griffith said, will further allow the citizenry to be aware of how  Guyanese can  benefit from  the initiative.
He said several other government entities, along with the private sector, have  signalled their  intention to be a part of the event – the first of its kind in the Ancient County.
