HING takes ICT in T&T

NATIONAL smallbore captain Dale Hing won the Individual Overall Challenge Trophy (ICT) at the NRA Law Enforcement Action Pistol competition, staged last weekend at Tucker Valley shooting range in Trinidad and Tobago (T&T). Hing and Gordon Richards were to be part of a four-man Guyana team but two shooters opted out which resulted in the two teaming up with two members of the Law Enforcement Pistol Club to compete in the regional team competition.
Hing won the Service Semi-Auto Pistol event beating into second place I. Cockburn of T&T, with Richards occupying the third position.
This shooting tournament was the first NRA Police Pistol Combat Shoot which is normally held in New Mexico, USA, to be held outside of the USA and was organised by the Trinidad & Tobago Firearm Instructors Association.
Both Hing and Gordon participated in four events which included one for the Fastest Draw in T&T which was won by Hing, with the Team Overall Challenge Trophy going to MI4 of T&T..
Their outstanding performances were as follows:
Event 1: Service Semi-Auto Pistol
1st – Dale Hing –  Guyana NRA
2nd – I. Cockburn – Cadets Force T&T
3rd – Gordon Richards – Guyana NRA
Event 2: Action Pistol
1st – A. Hamilton –  Trinidad NRA
2nd – Dale Hing – Guyana NRA
3rd – Gordon Richards – Guyana NRA
Event 3 – Regional Team (4-man)
1st – MI4 – Trinidad
2nd – Guyana/T&T combined
3rd – Car Search Security Force – Trinidad
Event 4 – Fastest Draw in T&T
1st – Dale Hing
Individual Overall Challenge Trophy went to Dale Hing of Guyana NRA.
