FIVE of six suspects, a female included, whom the Police arrested following intense investigations into an armed robbery committed on the Guyana Stockfeeds Ltd. at Farm, East Bank Demerara, Thursday last, appeared in the Providence Magistrate’s Court yesterday and have all been remanded to prison.
All the suspects were slapped with nine counts of robbery under arms, committed on employees of the Guyana Stockfeeds Limited, at Farm.
Appearing before Magistrate Leslie Sobers were FeTroy Greenidge, 23, of Industrial Site Squatting Area, Ruimveldt; Adrian Greene, called “Miguel Johnson” of Cato Street, Agricola; Hudley Sampson, 37, of Friendship, EBD; Silvester Vanderhyden, 23, of Remus Street, Agricola and the lone female, Ulanda King, 33, of Grove Public Road, EBD.
Magistrate Sobers issued an arrest warrant for the absentee suspect, Delroy Cordis, called “Dottie” of Grove, EBD, who remains on the run.
The prisoners are to re-appear in court on May 4 next.
