THE police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified male of African descent who was found at about 01:30 hrs yesterday in a yard at Mandela Avenue, Georgetown, with injuries about the body. The Police, in a statement, said the man was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) where he was pronounced ‘dead on arrival’.

According to the Police, the body of the deceased who appears to be in the mid-thirties, is slim built, brown in complexion, and clad in a red jersey and three-quarter camouflage pants.

The body, which was discovered without any shoes, is at the Lyken Funeral Parlour.
